Recycle Rush: Week Two

This week the team focused mainly on finishing up prototypes and building a full-sized field. Instead of the traditional wooden field, we have turned to PVC piping to create the framework of the field and sheet metal donated by our sponsor ACE Metal Craft to make the tote chutes. With the practice field intact, we have been training a new drive team using a practice chassis.

The VEX teams have been hard at work preparing their robots for the upcoming regional. The younger teams learn valuable reflection skills by changing major aspects of their robots and working out new issues that arise. When these skills are applied to FRC, VEX students will be able to effectively analyze weak and strong points of the robot and determine what should be changed in between competitions.
