PWNAGE Goes to FIRST FRC World Championships in St Louis MO

PWNAGE Robotics participated in the FIRST Robotics Competition World Championships in St. Louis, Missouri. The team earned a spot to compete with the best in the world by winning there local tournaments. On Thursday and Friday, the team played 10 qualification matches on the Tesla Field, and earned 10 wins. The team worked extremely hard over the two qualification days to end up as second seed out of 75 teams on the Tesla competition field. There were 8 fields with about 650 teams from over 40 countries competing at the FIRST FRC Championship.

Saturday opened with the alliance selections, and we partnered up with the S.W.A.T Team 1806, BadgerBOTS Team 1306 and Fondy Fire Team 2194. Together this alliance won their Their Qualifiying matches and headed to the Semifinals. After two touch matches in the Quarterfinals, the Red Alliance was eliminated.


In the end, we would like to congratulate Team 330, Team 2481, Team 120, and Team 1086 for their success in winning the FIRST Robotics Competition World Championships.

Additionally, we are proud of Team 2451’s achievements this season including Winning Midwest and St. Louis Regional, Earning the Industrial Design Award at St. Louis and Bonnie and Scott Hale were awarded the Woody Flowers Mentor Award at Midwest Regional. We are extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to interact and play against the greatest FIRST FRC Teams in the world at the Championship.

The team ended its season 64th in the world out of 3300 teams. They were in the top 10 % of the world championships and we are in the top 6 % robotic teams in the world!
