This past weekend 3/11/2017 the PWNAGE Robotics Team and their alliance partners beat out the other competitors in The Miami Valley Regional at Wittenberg University in Springfield OH to advance to the
FIRST Championships at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis April 28-30, 2017.
Even though our Team finished 27th in qualification matches due to intermittent software bugs and other hiccups, Delphi E.L.I.T.E. Team 48 the third-ranked team knew our team’s potential for delivering when it mattered most. They saw the potential in our team’s autonomous shooter to score critical points, which gave our alliance an edge, especially in the later rounds. Our alliance was complete with Team 4085 Technical Difficulties. Together our three robots ran gears, played defense and climbed ropes onboard our airship. Our alliance worked extremely well together, throughout the gauntlet of NINE elimination matches. We did it the hard way, losing the first match at every stage of the elimination rounds and winning the next two, but we persevered together. We want to say thank you to our Finals Competitors Team 554 Blue grease Crew, Team 3201 Ross Rambotics and Team 2252 Mavericks, these teams played three nail-biting matches against our alliance. Thank you to the Miami Valley Regional Volunteers for running one of the best Regionals.
