PWNAGE competes at Indiana Robotics Competition 2016

PWNAGE Robotics received an invitation to take part at the Indiana Robotics Invitational on July 14-15, 2016.

The trip to the Indiana Robotics Competition was eventful-the bearings on our trailer wheel went out. Our team pulled off of the freeway at a Costco and began making some calls. We needed to get to IRI before 8pm for registration check in. It was 6:15 and we were 20 miles away from the site. We made a few calls and Gear It Forward from Oswego came to save the day. They loaded our robot and pit tools into their trailer and rushed us to IRI. We arrived with 20 minutes to spare before registration closed. They were lifesavers!

The competition was tough but we did well and ended up 11th over all. Our team is amazing! We work well together, this teamwork carries over into our alliances. We were picked by the Flaming Chickens as their second pick in the alliance selection. Together our alliance did well but lost in the semi-finals.

We were able to get the trailer repaired so that we could head home safely. Thank you to all that helped and supported our team at this tournament!
